What is your definition of feminism?

I believe that the definition of feminism is promoting the all-encompassing                            equality of the genders through empowering women to vocalize their rights in                        this sense.

What makes you consider yourself a feminist?

I consider myself a feminist, because I seek out opportunities to encourage and                      celebrate equality of all genders.

Was there a specific time when you realized you were a feminist?

I realized I was a feminist when I was in high school and read some powerful                          female-written literature.

How has feminism impacted your life?

Feminism has impacted my life in the way that I no longer tolerate misogynistic                     behavior and verbiage from people around me and I am using introspection to

How does intersectionality matter to you?

Intersectionality does not impact me as much as it would impact peoples of color                   and of identities that deviate from the majority. I believe it is part of my                                   responsibility as a member of the majority in culture to promote equality and                         access to resources.

How do you engage with feminism?

I engage with feminism through open conversation, but I have not made extensive                 effort to engage with feminism in an outspoken way through social media and                         clubs.

Do you have a favorite celebrity feminist or two? Why?

Zendaya, because she is an activist for feminism and empowering all people of                       color and minorities.

Do you believe there can be different versions of feminism?

I do not believe there are different versions. The very core of feminism is equality                  of all genders; if people do not support this, then they are not supporting                                feminism.

Have you ever taken a Women's Studies course?

I have not, but I have touched on some topics in my nursing courses.

Do you think some feminists are too radical?

I believe that people who act radically use feminism as a red herring to justify their               narrative of oppressive other people in the name of empowering women. That is                   not what feminism is.
